Ingredients:

  • Crust:
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1 cup chopped pecans
    • 1/2 cup softened margarine
  • Layers:
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
    • 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip, plus more for topping
    • 2 (4 oz) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
    • 3 cups milk
    • Additional chopped pecans for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • Mix flour, pecans, and margarine. Press into a baking dish. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Cream Cheese Layer:
    • Blend cream cheese with confectioners’ sugar and Cool Whip. Spread over the cooled crust.
  3. Chocolate Pudding Layer:
    • Whisk pudding mix with milk until smooth. Pour over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Finish:
    • Top with a layer of Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
