  • 1 pound Ground Beef (80/20) For good flavor and juiciness.
  • 1 box Stove Top Stuffing Mix Use poultry or savory flavor, contents only.
  • 1 cup Water Room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup Onion Finely chopped (about 1 small onion).
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup Plus extra for glazing if desired.
  • 1 large Egg Beaten.

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease or spray a baking dish large enough for a meatloaf (about 8×4 inches or similar).
  • In a medium bowl, pour the Stove Top stuffing mix and add 1 cup water. Stir briefly and let it sit for 1 minute to hydrate.
  • Add ground beef, chopped onion, ketchup, and beaten egg to the bowl with the stuffing. Mix gently until combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared baking dish. Smooth the top with a spoon.
  • If desired, spread additional ketchup over the loaf before baking.
  • Bake for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for 8–10 minutes before slicing.
  • Slice and serve with your favorite sides. Enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. For freezing, wrap tightly and freeze up to 3 months.
