  • 2 lbs Kielbasa, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 3/4 cup Cola Regular or diet
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar, packed Light or dark
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder Optional
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dry Mustard Or 1 teaspoon prepared mustard if preferred
  • Salt and Pepper To taste, optional

Instructions

  • Slice the kielbasa into 1/2-inch rounds, keeping pieces uniform for even cooking.
  • Add the sliced kielbasa to a 3-quart slow cooker. Pour in the cola and sprinkle the brown sugar over the top.
  • Add the chili powder (if using), Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and dry mustard. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
  • Gently stir the mixture until the kielbasa is mostly coated with the sugar and seasonings.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours until the sauce thickens into a glossy glaze.
  • During the last 30 minutes, stir occasionally to ensure even coating and reduce the sauce to your preferred thickness.
  • Serve warm from the slow cooker with toothpicks or small forks for easy snacking.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. These bites freeze well for up to 2 months.
