  • 2 pounds Pork Sausage Spicy or mild, ground
  • 1.5 cups Buttermilk Baking Mix Such as Bisquick
  • 16 ounces Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 0.5 cup Diced Onion
  • 0.5 cup Chopped Celery
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder Optional for extra flavor

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • In a large bowl, combine the sausage, baking mix, cheddar cheese, onion, celery, and garlic powder. Mix well and form into 1-inch balls.
  • Place the balls on the ungreased cookie sheet 1/2 inch apart.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

Store leftover Sausage Cheese Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
