  • 1 box Pumpkin cake mix (15.25 oz) Plus ingredients listed on box (typically eggs, oil, and water)
  • 1 medium Apple Peeled and chopped into small chunks
  • 0.5 cup Cinnamon chips Can use up to 3/4 cup
  • 1 cup Caramel bits Or substitute with caramel squares
  • 2 tsp Water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a Bundt pan thoroughly.
  • Prepare pumpkin cake batter according to package instructions.
  • Stir in chopped apple and cinnamon chips.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cake cool in the pan for 20 minutes. Invert onto a platter and let cool completely.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine caramel bits and water. Microwave for 90 seconds, stirring halfway through, until smooth.
  • Drizzle melted caramel over the cooled cake. Let set before slicing.

Notes

Try topping with chopped toasted pecans for added texture and flavor. Spice cake mix can be substituted for pumpkin cake mix.
