Instructions
In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the Italian sausage, breaking it into small pieces, and cook until browned.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the diced tomatoes and chicken broth, and bring to a boil.
Add the pasta to the pot, making sure it is submerged in the liquid.
Reduce the heat, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes until the pasta is cooked.
Stir in the heavy cream and shredded mozzarella cheese until everything is melted and creamy.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
