Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb Ground beef

Vegetables

  • 1 Tbsp Minced onion
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder

Potatoes

  • 30 oz Frozen shredded hash browns No need to thaw

Sauces

  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup 10 oz
  • 1 cup Milk

Cheese

  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese

Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper To taste

  • Salad or fresh veggies For serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef with minced onion and garlic powder. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in frozen hash browns, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
  • Spread mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Top with remaining 1 cup cheese.
  • Bake for 30–40 minutes until hot and bubbly, and cheese is melted.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Serve warm with a fresh salad or vegetables.

Notes

Customize with your favorite veggies or use ground turkey instead. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking. Freezes well for up to 3 months.
