Ingredients for Classic Goumi Pie

  • 2 cups Fresh goumi berries Look for ripe, high-quality berries.
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 pre-made Pie crust Store-bought or homemade.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine goumi berries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Stir until well coated.
  • Pour the berry mixture into the pre-made pie crust, spreading evenly.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  • Remove from oven and let cool completely before serving.

Notes

For added texture, sprinkle sliced almonds on top before baking. Serve with vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.
