Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 8 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese cheddar or American
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning or your favorite burger seasoning
  • 4 large Flour Tortillas
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 Tomato diced
  • ½ cup Pickles sliced
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise optional
  • ¼ cup Ketchup optional
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until it’s fully browned, breaking it up into crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning (or burger seasoning) and cook according to the packet instructions. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.
  • Lay the large flour tortillas flat on a clean surface. In the center of each tortilla, add a generous portion of the seasoned ground beef.
  • Sprinkle crumbled bacon and shredded cheese (cheddar or American) over the ground beef.
  • Add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced pickles on top of the beef and cheese. Drizzle some mayonnaise and ketchup over the toppings if desired.
  • Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it tightly from the bottom up to secure the filling inside. Use toothpicks to hold the wrap together if necessary.
  • Slice the wraps in half for easier handling and serve immediately with extra dipping sauces like ketchup, mayonnaise, or mustard on the side.

Notes

You can prepare the beef and toppings in advance and assemble the wraps when you’re ready to eat. For a crispy exterior, brush the outside of the tortillas with oil or butter and cook them in a hot skillet or panini press until golden brown.
