Instructions

  • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sautéing until they are translucent.
  • Add ground beef to the pot and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the chopped cabbage, uncooked rice, tomato sauce, beef broth, water, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 25-30 minutes, or until the rice and cabbage are tender.
  • Ladle the soup into bowls and serve hot, with a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stove or in the microwave until hot.
