  • 1 box (18 oz) double chocolate premium brownie mix with chocolate chips
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 jar (7 oz) jet-puffed marshmallow creme
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 3 1/2 cups cocoa krispies cereal

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Lightly grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together brownie mix, egg, oil, and water until fully combined. Spread evenly in the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 35–45 minutes. Let cool completely.
  • Spread marshmallow creme over cooled brownie layer and sprinkle with coconut.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in 1-minute intervals until smooth.
  • Stir in cocoa krispies cereal until coated. Spread evenly over the marshmallow layer.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Cut into bars and serve.

Notes

Chill thoroughly before cutting for clean bars. You can use creamy peanut butter or swap in white chocolate. Store refrigerated up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
