Ingredients
1lbGround chicken
1cupFresh spinach, finely chopped
½cupShredded white cheddar cheese
¼cupBreadcrumbs
¼cupFinely chopped onion
2clovesGarlic, minced
1tablespoonDijon mustard
1teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Olive oil, for cooking
4piecesBurger buns
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, or extra cheese
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
Using clean hands or a spoon, gently mix all ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, or your burgers may turn out dense.
Divide the mixture into four equal portions. Shape each portion into a burger patty about ¾-inch thick.
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. When hot, add the burgers in a single layer, leaving space between each patty.
Cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until the burgers are golden brown, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Toast the burger buns, if desired, for extra flavor and texture.
Assemble the burgers on the buns with your chosen toppings. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
