Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Skillet

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground chicken
  • 1 cup Fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • ½ cup Shredded white cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup Breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup Finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for cooking
  • 4 pieces Burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, or extra cheese

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  • Using clean hands or a spoon, gently mix all ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, or your burgers may turn out dense.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal portions. Shape each portion into a burger patty about ¾-inch thick.
  • Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. When hot, add the burgers in a single layer, leaving space between each patty.
  • Cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until the burgers are golden brown, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Toast the burger buns, if desired, for extra flavor and texture.
  • Assemble the burgers on the buns with your chosen toppings. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes
