Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup milk

Add-ins

  • 1 cup diced apples

Topping

  • ¼ cup sugar for topping
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the vegetable oil and milk. Mix well.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in the diced apples evenly through the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the topping. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
  • Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for a week. You can also freeze slices for up to three months.
