Ingredients

Brisket Preparation

  • 3 pounds Beef Brisket Trimmed and ready for seasoning.
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ Rub Your favorite spice mix.

Bun Preparation

  • 4 pieces Soft Buns Toasted for serving.
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce For topping.
  • 1 cup Coleslaw For topping.
  • 1/2 cup Pickles For topping.

Instructions

  • Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  • Season the brisket generously with BBQ rub.
  • Place the brisket in the smoker and cook for about 6-8 hours, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C).
  • Remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
  • Slice the brisket thinly against the grain.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by placing brisket slices on toasted buns and topping with BBQ sauce, coleslaw, and pickles.
