Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Meat

  • 0.5 lb extra-lean ground beef

Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning

Tortillas

  • 8 large flour tortillas

Cheese

  • 0.5 cup jarred nacho cheese sauce or queso

Tostadas

  • 4 tostadas

Dairy

  • 0.5 cup sour cream

Vegetables

  • 1 cup iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1 plum tomato, deseeded and diced

Cheese

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Cooking Spray

  • 1 spray cooking spray

Instructions

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and taco seasoning, cooking for 7-8 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Stack 4 tortillas and place a tostada in the middle. Cut the tortillas around the tostada, leaving 1/2 inch of extra room.
  • Add a bit of beef to the middle of one large tortilla, leaving room around the sides. Drizzle with 1-2 tbsp nacho cheese/queso, top with a tostada.
  • Spread sour cream over the tostada, then add lettuce, tomato, and shredded cheese. Top with the smaller tortilla.
  • Repeat the process with remaining crunchwraps.
  • Spray a skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Fold the large tortilla edges over the smaller tortilla and flip onto the heated pan.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Cut in half and serve.

Notes

Use any protein you like, such as chicken or beans. Add extra toppings like jalapeños or guacamole for more flavor. Make sure to fold the edges tightly to prevent filling from leaking out while cooking.
