Fresh Strawberries, hulled and diced
Make sure they are ripe for sweetness.

Jalapeno Peppers, seeded and finely chopped
Adjust quantity based on desired spice level.

Powdered Fruit Pectin
Can substitute with liquid pectin if needed.
Instructions
1. Hull and dice the strawberries. Seed and finely chop the jalapenos, wearing gloves if necessary.
2. In a large pot, combine the strawberries, jalapenos, sugar, lemon juice, and pectin. Stir well.
3. Place the pot over medium-high heat and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
4. Allow to boil for about 10 minutes, or until thickened to your liking.
5. To test consistency, drop a spoonful on a cold plate; if it holds its shape, it's ready.
6. Pour the jam into sterilized jars while hot, seal tightly, and let cool to room temperature.
7. Store in the refrigerator for up to three weeks or follow canning methods for longer storage.
Notes
Store in a clean jar in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. You can also freeze it in airtight containers.
