Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
Mix in buttermilk until fully combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
Gently fold in chopped pecans.
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use fresh pecans. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
