  • 4 cups dry bread cubes
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1-1 1/2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the dry bread cubes, chopped onion, celery, parsley, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss everything well to mix the seasonings.
  • Pour the melted butter over the bread mixture and stir to coat it evenly.
  • Gradually add the chicken broth, starting with 1 cup. Mix until the mixture is moist but not soggy. If needed, add more broth.
  • Form the mixture into balls about the size of golf balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake them for 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  • Serve hot with gravy or alongside your main dish.
