  • 10 slices white sandwich bread Use soft white bread for best rolling.
  • 1.5 cups fresh strawberries, diced small
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 3 teaspoons granulated sugar, divided
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • In a bowl, toss diced strawberries with 1 tsp sugar and set aside.
  • Mix softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Flatten each bread slice with a rolling pin and trim crusts.
  • Spread a teaspoon of cream cheese mix along one edge of the bread and top with strawberries. Roll up tightly.
  • In a shallow dish, whisk eggs, milk, 2 tsp sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Heat a nonstick pan over medium and coat with butter or spray. Dip each roll in the egg mixture and cook seam-side down first. Turn to brown all sides.
  • Serve warm with extra strawberries, powdered sugar, or syrup.

Notes

Make ahead and refrigerate uncooked roll-ups overnight. Try with blueberries or bananas for variety! For baking, cook at 375°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway.
