Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Glass Dish or Serving Cups

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 8 oz container whipped topping
  • 1 box Nilla wafers
  • 2 pieces bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup strawberry pie filling or chopped strawberries

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla instant pudding mix with the cold milk. Whisk them together for about 2 minutes until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture. Be careful not to deflate the whipped topping – you want that light, airy texture!
  • Grab a large glass dish or individual serving cups. Start by laying down a layer of Nilla wafers at the bottom.
  • Spoon a generous amount of the pudding mixture over the Nilla wafers.
  • Add a layer of banana slices followed by a layer of strawberries or strawberry pie filling.
  • Continue layering with Nilla wafers, pudding, bananas, and strawberries until all ingredients are used up, ending with a layer of pudding on top.
  • Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the dish to set. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

For best flavor, use slightly overripe bananas. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
