Ingredients

Meat

  • 2 lbs Ground Chuck

Tomatoes

  • 1 can (14 oz) Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 can (14 oz) Crushed Tomatoes
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) Tomato Sauce

Other Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 5 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 large Onion, chopped or 2 medium onions
  • 1 medium Green Bell Pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Minced Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Sweet Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

Pasta

  • to taste Spaghetti Noodles, cooked enough for desired servings

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté onions, garlic, and green pepper until soft (3–5 mins).
  • Add ground chuck and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, and tomato sauce.
  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, basil, oregano, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Simmer on low for 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • While sauce simmers, cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  • Serve sauce over spaghetti. Garnish with Parmesan or parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra richness, add a splash of red wine while simmering. You can also mix in mushrooms or zucchini for added nutrition.
