Ingredients

Cake Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix Follow the instructions on the box for additional ingredients.

Strawberry Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh strawberries Sliced

Whipped Cream

  • 1 cup whipped cream Homemade or store-bought

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven and prepare the cake according to the box instructions. Bake until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let it cool completely.
  • While the cake cools, rinse and slice your strawberries. Set aside.
  • Once cool, cut the cake into bite-sized cubes or squares for easy layering.
  • In a large glass punch bowl (or any large serving bowl), start layering: first a layer of cake cubes, then a layer of sliced strawberries, followed by a generous scoop of whipped cream. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a fluffy layer of whipped cream on top.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. This allows all the flavors to meld and keeps the dessert refreshing and cool.
