Whipped Cream
1cupwhipped creamHomemade or store-bought
Instructions
Preheat your oven and prepare the cake according to the box instructions. Bake until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let it cool completely.
While the cake cools, rinse and slice your strawberries. Set aside.
Once cool, cut the cake into bite-sized cubes or squares for easy layering.
In a large glass punch bowl (or any large serving bowl), start layering: first a layer of cake cubes, then a layer of sliced strawberries, followed by a generous scoop of whipped cream. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a fluffy layer of whipped cream on top.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. This allows all the flavors to meld and keeps the dessert refreshing and cool.
Notes
