  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, cream together the peanut butter, softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture until well blended.
  • Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them about 2 inches apart on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  • Flatten each ball with the back of a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes or until the edges start to brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

These cookies are best enjoyed warm right out of the oven. Serve them with a tall glass of milk or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat.
