Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 250 g Bread Flour
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 3 g Salt
  • 4 g Dry Yeast

Wet Ingredients

  • 25 g Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 180 g Warm Milk About 110°F
  • 20 g Unsalted Butter Softened

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix warm milk with the dry yeast and a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, remaining sugar, and salt, stirring well to distribute the ingredients evenly.
  • Once your yeast mixture is frothy, add it to the bowl with dry ingredients, along with the sweetened condensed milk and softened butter.
  • Using your hands or a dough hook in a stand mixer, knead the mixture until it becomes a smooth and elastic dough—about 10 minutes. The dough should be slightly sticky.
  • Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • After the dough has risen, punch it down to remove any air bubbles. Divide it into small pieces (about 50g each) and shape them into balls.
  • Arrange the dough balls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let them rise for another 30-40 minutes until they're puffy.
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until they turn golden brown on top.
  • Let the rolls cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or freeze for up to a month.
