Snickerdoodle Cobbler

  • 1 package Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix (with cinnamon-sugar packet)
  • ½ cup Butter softened
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 can Apple Pie Filling (approximately 21 oz)
  • 3 tablespoons Caramel Topping

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  • 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix, softened butter, and egg. Mix until well combined to form a soft dough.
  • 3. Spoon half of the snickerdoodle dough in small portions across the bottom of the greased baking pan.
  • 4. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the cookie dough layer.
  • 5. Spread the apple pie filling evenly over the cinnamon-sugar-covered dough.
  • 6. Drop the remaining snickerdoodle dough in spoonfuls on top of the apple pie filling.
  • 7. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top and drizzle with caramel topping.
  • 8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • 9. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding nuts or using a spiced apple filling.
