  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 4 slices Ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) Cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder

Instructions

  • First, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Next, place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each chicken breast. Roll them up tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  • In a small bowl, mix the bread crumbs, melted butter, parsley, and garlic powder until well combined.
  • Roll each chicken roll in the bread crumb mixture until coated, then place them in the slow cooker.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup and milk. Pour this mixture over the chicken rolls in the slow cooker.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  • Carefully remove the toothpicks before serving. Serve warm with extra sauce spooned over the top.

Notes

This dish is best served warm. You can pair it with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad. The creamy sauce makes it even more delicious when drizzled over rice or mashed potatoes!
