Equipment

  • Large Pot
  • Skillet

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 1 lb Linguine pasta

Meat

  • 1 lb Ground beef

Butter and Oil

  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Flavorings

  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine pasta and cook until just al dente according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Step 2: While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, then season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and crumbled, about 6–8 minutes. Transfer cooked beef to a plate and set aside.
  • Step 3: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes, or until fragrant and just golden.
  • Step 4: Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any flavorful browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let the broth simmer for a couple of minutes.
  • Step 5: Lower the heat to medium-low and stir in the heavy cream. Once it begins to warm, add both the Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, along with the Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Stir well until the sauce thickens and the cheeses melt into a smooth, creamy base.
  • Step 6: Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet and stir so it’s well coated in the sauce. Add in the drained linguine and gently toss everything together.
  • Step 7: Plate the pasta, then finish with a sprinkling of chopped fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a well-rounded meal, pair with a green salad or garlic bread. Leftovers store well in the fridge for 3–4 days.
