Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles.
In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Whisk until smooth and creamy.
Add the cooked sausage, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese into the cream cheese mixture. Stir well until evenly mixed.
Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour the sausage mixture into the dish and top with frozen tater tots, distributing them evenly.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until the eggs are set and the tater tots are golden brown.
Add chopped chives or green onions as a garnish before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
