  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into the butter mixture.
  • Fold in the Rice Krispies and chocolate chips until well incorporated.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are light golden brown.
  • Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

For a thicker cookie, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Feel free to mix in different types of chocolate chips for added variety!
