Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into the butter mixture.
Fold in the Rice Krispies and chocolate chips until well incorporated.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are light golden brown.
Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
For a thicker cookie, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Feel free to mix in different types of chocolate chips for added variety!
