Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and oregano. Mix gently until just combined.
Divide the meat mixture in half. Shape one half into a rectangle on a baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
Layer the sautéed onions, bell peppers, and slices of provolone cheese over the meatloaf base.
Top with the remaining meat mixture, pressing gently to seal the edges.
Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding different cheeses or spices to the meat mixture.
