Equipment

  • Mini Muffin Tin
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

For the Muffins

  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

For the Coating

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease 24 mini-muffin cups or line them with mini paper liners.
  • Step 2: In a large bowl, beat together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add the nutmeg, milk, baking powder, and flour. Mix until just combined.
  • Step 3: Fill each mini-muffin cup about halfway with the batter. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Step 4: In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. In another bowl, melt the butter.
  • Step 5: While the muffins are still warm, dip each one in the melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until thoroughly coated. Place the coated muffins on a wire rack to cool.

Notes

For the best coating, dip and roll the muffins in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while they are still warm.
