  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup Pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Mini pepperoni slices
  • 4 pieces Hamburger buns
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or light grease.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  • Add chopped onion and green bell pepper, cook until softened (about 5 minutes).
  • Stir in pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, and mini pepperoni slices. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  • Place bottom halves of hamburger buns on the baking sheet. Spoon beef mixture over each.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, then cover with top bun halves.
  • Bake for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Swap ground beef for turkey or a meat alternative. Add mushrooms or spinach to bulk up. Store leftovers up to 3 days in the fridge or freeze beef mix for 2 months.
