Ingredients

For the Brownies

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 12 oz mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, cut into quarters (divided)

For the Peanut Butter Fudge Frosting

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 15 oz natural peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 oz milk chocolate chips, melted (for drizzling)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • Melt the butter, then stir in sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, and eggs until smooth.
  • Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix just until combined.
  • Fold in half of the chopped mini Reese’s and pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Cool brownies in freezer for 15 minutes while you make the frosting.
  • Beat softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  • Gradually add sifted powdered sugar, then mix in peanut butter, vanilla, and salt until creamy.
  • Spread frosting over cooled brownies, sprinkle with remaining chopped Reese’s, and drizzle melted chocolate on top.
  • Chill before slicing for cleaner cuts, then serve and enjoy!

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Chill before slicing for the cleanest cuts. Use natural peanut butter for the best flavor and texture.
