Ingredients
Ingredients
1cupUnsalted Butter
1cupGranulated Sugar
1/2cupMilk
1/2cupUnsweetened Cocoa Powder
1teaspoonVanilla Extract
3cupsQuick Cooking Oats
1cupShredded Coconut
1/2cupMini Chocolate Chips
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, add the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, milk, and unsweetened cocoa powder.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir constantly until the mixture reaches a rolling boil.
Once boiling, set your timer and continue to boil the mixture for exactly 1 minute, stirring the entire time to avoid burning.
Remove the pan from the heat.
Immediately stir in the vanilla extract, quick cooking oats, shredded coconut, and mini chocolate chips. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly (just a minute or two—enough so you can handle it without burning your hands).
Using a small spoon or a cookie scoop, scoop out portions and roll into bite-sized balls with your hands.
Place the formed balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until the Moose Farts are set and firm.
Once set, transfer to an airtight container and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
Notes
For best results, use quick cooking oats and refrigerate immediately after shaping to maintain texture.
