  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups Quick Cooking Oats
  • 1 cup Shredded Coconut
  • 1/2 cup Mini Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, add the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, milk, and unsweetened cocoa powder.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir constantly until the mixture reaches a rolling boil.
  • Once boiling, set your timer and continue to boil the mixture for exactly 1 minute, stirring the entire time to avoid burning.
  • Remove the pan from the heat.
  • Immediately stir in the vanilla extract, quick cooking oats, shredded coconut, and mini chocolate chips. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  • Allow the mixture to cool slightly (just a minute or two—enough so you can handle it without burning your hands).
  • Using a small spoon or a cookie scoop, scoop out portions and roll into bite-sized balls with your hands.
  • Place the formed balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until the Moose Farts are set and firm.
  • Once set, transfer to an airtight container and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Notes

For best results, use quick cooking oats and refrigerate immediately after shaping to maintain texture.
