Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar Packed
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Ripe Bananas Mashed

  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  • Add the eggs and mashed bananas to the butter mixture and mix until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. You can also freeze the dough or cookies for up to 3 months.
