Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until well combined.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, add the vanilla extract and milk.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely before serving. You can frost it with cream cheese frosting if you like!
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Great with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to three days.
