  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup M&Ms (for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in peanut butter.
  • Alternate adding the dry ingredients with milk and vanilla, mixing until just combined.
  • Pour batter into prepared cake pan. Smooth the top evenly.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool completely. Frost with peanut butter frosting and top with M&Ms.

Notes

For a more indulgent finish, drizzle melted chocolate over the frosted cake. You can also swap M&Ms for Reese's Pieces or chopped candy bars!
