Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • 9-inch pie pan

Ingredients

Crust Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Filling Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Garnish

  • chocolate shavings or mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix until fluffy. Stir in peppermint extract.
  • Gently fold in the whipped cream until light and well combined.
  • Pour the filling into the crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the pie to set.
  • Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings or fresh mint leaves. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer mint flavor, add more peppermint extract or a drop of green food coloring for a classic look. A premade pie crust works well if you're short on time!
