  • 1 large egg

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Reese's Pieces

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract, then stir in the peanut butter.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in Reese's Pieces.
  • Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.
  • Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. If you prefer crunchier cookies, bake for an additional 1-2 minutes.
