Ingredients

Pasta Shells

  • 12 pieces jumbo pasta shells

Chicken Filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Garnish

  • fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Fill each cooked shell with the chicken and cheese mixture.
  • Spread a layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and top with the remaining Alfredo sauce.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sautéed spinach or sun-dried tomatoes to the filling. Make sure the pasta shells are al dente so they hold their shape after baking.
