  • 0.5 pound White American cheese, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons Diced green chiles, chopped very fine
  • 0.25 teaspoon Garlic powder (optional)
  • 0.75 cup Milk Adjust to desired consistency
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cube the White American cheese and place it in a saucepan with green chiles, garlic powder, and 3/4 cup milk.
  • Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 10–12 minutes until the cheese has melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • If the dip is too thick, add more milk gradually to reach your desired consistency.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips or use as a sauce for tacos, nachos, and more.

Notes

Use a mini crockpot or fondue pot to keep the dip warm for parties. Add jalapeños or cayenne pepper if you like it spicy.
