Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb Ground beef or sausage Choose your preferred meat.

Dairy

  • 16 oz Cream cheese Softened.
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1.5 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Pepper Jack cheese

Vegetables

  • 10 oz Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies Drained.
  • 0.5 cup Diced green onions
  • 0.5 cup Diced jalapeños Optional, for extra heat.

Spices

  • 1 packet Taco seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked paprika

Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Serving

  • Tortilla chips or crackers For dipping.

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise to the skillet. Stir until creamy and well combined.
  • Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese, Pepper Jack cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes, diced green onions, diced jalapeños, taco seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
  • Allow the dip to cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often, until all the cheeses are melted, and the mixture is heated through.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and serve immediately with tortilla chips or crackers for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven or microwave, adding a splash of milk if needed.
