Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Topping

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, melted butter, and minced garlic. Mix until well combined for the topping.
  • Top each chicken breast with shredded mozzarella and provolone cheese, then sprinkle the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture evenly over the chicken.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Make sure to brown the chicken nicely in the skillet for added flavor. You can adjust the amount of garlic according to your taste. Let the chicken rest after baking to keep it juicy.
