Ingredients
1bagFrozen French fries
1lbGround beef
2cupsShredded cheddar cheese
1cupSour cream
1smallOnion, diced
1mediumTomato, diced
1mediumJalapeño, sliced
1tablespoonTaco seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Spread the frozen French fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake according to package instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes, until crispy and golden.
Once the fries are golden, sprinkle the cooked ground beef evenly over them. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and return to the oven for a few minutes, just until the cheese melts.
Remove from the oven and add your fresh toppings: diced onions, diced tomato, and sliced jalapeños.
Drizzle the sour cream over the loaded fries and sprinkle with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper for an extra kick.
Finish with a garnish of freshly chopped cilantro and serve while hot.
