1cupunsalted butter, melted
2cupsall-purpose flour
1/2cupgranulated sugar
1/4teaspoonsalt
1 1/2cupschopped pecans
1cuplight brown sugar, packed
1cuplight corn syrup
3largeeggs

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it well.
In a bowl, mix melted butter, flour, granulated sugar, and salt to form a dough.
Press dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
Bake the crust for 15-18 minutes, until lightly golden. Set aside to cool.
In another bowl, whisk together pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Pour pecan mixture over the pre-baked crust, spreading evenly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until filling is set and golden.
Allow bars to cool completely before slicing into squares.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the filling. You can also mix in 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips for a delicious twist!
