Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef until it is browned. Drain any fat and return the beef to the skillet.
Add the taco seasoning and water to the beef. Let it simmer until the water is gone.
Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and place two flour tortillas at the bottom.
Spread half of the refried beans over the tortillas.
Add half of the cooked beef, then pour 1 cup of salsa on top.
Sprinkle with 1/3 of the shredded cheese.
Repeat these layers: tortillas, beans, beef, salsa, and cheese.
Finish with a layer of tortillas and the remaining cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve with sour cream, diced tomatoes, and shredded lettuce.
Notes
To store any leftovers, let it cool completely. Then, cover it tightly with plastic wrap or foil. It can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze it for up to 2 months.
