Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round baking pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the key lime juice and zest, followed by the sour cream, mixing until well combined.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
