Equipment

  • Baking Dish
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise Full-fat recommended for best texture
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Mild or sharp, shredded
  • 1 cup Lump Crab Meat Drained and gently flaked if needed
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated if possible
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions White and light green parts
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed preferred
  • Salt and Pepper To taste
  • Fresh Parsley For garnish (optional, chopped)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a small to medium baking dish lightly with cooking spray or a bit of butter.
  • In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese and mayonnaise. Blend until smooth and lump-free.
  • Add shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, lemon juice, and chopped green onions. Mix until evenly incorporated.
  • Gently fold in lump crab meat, taking care not to break up larger pieces too much. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the top is golden and the dip is bubbling around the edges.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 2 to 3 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

Use lump crab meat for texture and avoid overmixing. Room-temperature cream cheese blends more smoothly.
