  • 1 package ready-made pie crust or pastry dough (about 400g)
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam (or any jam of your choice)
  • powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line it with small paper liners.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pastry dough. Use a cookie cutter or a cup to cut out circles big enough for the muffin tins.
  • Press each pastry circle into the muffin tins to form little wells.
  • Spoon about 1-2 teaspoons of jam into each pastry well.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the jam is bubbly.
  • Let them cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  • If you like, dust with powdered sugar before serving!

Notes

Best served fresh. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
