Wet Ingredients

1/2cupbrown sugar
2largeeggs
1/2cupvegetable oil
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1/2cupmilk
1/2cupchocolate chips
1/4cuphot fudge sauceplus extra for topping
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a standard loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
Add the eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and milk to the dry ingredients. Stir until the batter is smooth and glossy with no lumps.
Fold in the chocolate chips gently, spreading the chocolatey goodness evenly throughout the batter.
Pour about half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle half of the hot fudge sauce over the batter in a swirling motion. Then add the remaining half of the batter on top, smoothing it out evenly. Finish with the remaining hot fudge drizzled across the top for a beautiful, fudgy finish.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean — a few moist crumbs are perfect to ensure it’s nice and gooey inside.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing. Serve warm with extra hot fudge sauce if desired.
